Description

The ABUS 65CS/50 brass padlock is a closed shackle padlock with built-in shoulders to reduce the risk of attack from bolt cutters and saws However the reduced clearance of the padlock may not be suitable for your application e.g. when securing a shrouded hasp or securing two chain links (ABUS do however have a range of security chains that could be used). The 65CS/50 is used to secure valuables / goods of medium value or at an average risk of theft. e.g. chains, doors, gates, cupboards, lockers, tool boxes, cellar windows, sheds, switchboards, etc. For an alternative re-keyable padlock see ABUS 83CS/45 closed shackle brass padlock.

50 mm solid brass lock body with built in shoulders to provide additional protection of the shackle from attack.
Inner components made from non-corrosive materials
Precision pin tumbler cylinder
Hardened steel 8 mm diameter shackle with NANO PROTECT™ coating.
Shackle clearances 20 mm, width 19 mm.
ABUS Global Protection Standard Level 6 (security range 2 low – 10 high).
The ABUS 65CS/50 is supplied with 2 keys per padlock, additional keys can be included in your order if the KD “Keyed to Differ” option is selected.

Choice of “KD Keyed to Differ” of “KA Keyed Alike”

KD Keyed to Differ The key for one padlock should not open another lock.
KA Keyed Alike Padlocks keyed alike can all be opened by the same key. This is useful when one person is responsible for a number of padlocks.
